Our campsite is located only 6 km from Balaruc les Bains thermal baths, and we are happy to welcome every year all guests who wish to combine the benefits of the thermal springs with the calm of our campsite.
The campsite is situated near many must-see places of the Occitanie region.
Away from the traffic jam, you will find at Camping Le GAREL the comfort and the peace you need to relax and recharge your battery during your holiday in Hérault.
Camping near Sète, gastronomic city
Surrounded by golden sands, oyster-filled lagoons, and ancient salt flats, Sète, well known as a gastronomic city, will surprise you!
Try specialty food like : the Tielles Sétoises (pies filled with octopus and tomato sauce), the Bourride (a white fish stew with aïoli). The Zézettess (vanilla flavour shortbread made with white wine).
Bouzigues was originally a small village inhabited by fishermen who lived in caves along the coast. Since the beginning of the 20th century, the village has developed through the cultivation of oysters and mussels, using the suspension-FISH method.
You can also go to visit the Etang de Thau, a real fishpond with countless oyster farms, offering a unique panorama. These “sea pearls”can be tasted in many street kiosk, accompanied by a glass of local white wine. you're in for a real treat!!
